Introducing Oliver Moore: our new Lecturer in Applied Ecology

We’re very pleased to introduce our new member of staff, Dr. Oliver Moore, who starts today! Oliver brings a wealth of applied ecological skills from his academic research and previous experience with the Field Studies Council. The new MSc course starts in September, and is proving very popular with applicants.

“I have recently joined the University of Gloucestershire where I will be teaching on the MSc Applied Ecology course, as well as contributing to the undergraduate programme. My research has centred around the impact of red deer management on bryophyte and lichen ecology in north-west Scotland. However, I have a broad interest in natural history and love nothing more than being out in the field observing wildlife. At present, I am working on a bryophyte and lichen flora for the Letterewe Estate“.
